Our Story

A Journey of Compassion

Loving Hands Foundation was born out of a profound desire to bridge the gap between incredible young potential and the harsh realities of poverty in Kenya. We realized that while talent is universal, opportunity is not.

What started as small localized charity drives has grown into a structured, impactful organization that provides full educational scholarships, routine charity relief, and long-term mentorship. We believe that empowering one child structurally uplifts an entire community.

Our Mission

To break the cycle of generational poverty in Kenya by providing comprehensive educational sponsorships, essential relief supplies, and long-term youth empowerment programs.

Our Vision

A Kenya where every vulnerable child has access to quality education, basic life necessities, and the skills needed to transition from dependency to independence.

"Education changes everything."

Meet Our Founder

Beatrice Mbithe

Founder & Chairperson

Beatrice Mbithe founded the Loving Hands Foundation driven by her steadfast belief in the power of education. Witnessing brilliant children drop out of school due to lack of basic fees, she decided she could no longer stand by.

As the visionary and chairperson of LHF, Beatrice organizes funding, oversees the selection of beneficiaries, and leads our quarterly charity drives. Her localized understanding of the struggles faced by impoverished families ensures our solutions are both practical and profoundly impactful.

What Drives Us

Our Core Values

Transparency

Every shilling is accounted for. We maintain radical transparency with our donors about where funds go and the direct impact they have.

Compassion

We operate from a place of deep empathy, treating every child as if they were our own and protecting their dignity above all else.

Empowerment

We do not believe in perpetual charity. Our goal is structural empowerment—equipping youth with skills to be fully independent.
